  • Designed to refresh existing skills of operator
  • Folding boom, stiff boom, hydraulic crane
  • One day theory, one day practical, one day assessment Fulford Certification Level A)
  • Includes instructor, crane for training purposes, access to training facilities in BC’s Lower Mainland, Level A assessment

Stiff Boom Crane Operator

  • Provides comprehensive training program designed to train those wishing to pursue a career in crane operation
  • Unique program that combines theory and practical, “hands-on” training
  • Upon completion of the program, participants will be fully certified Level A 40 Tonnes & Under Stiff Boom Crane operators

Folding Boom Crane Operator

  • Provides comprehensive training program designed to train those wishing to pursue a career in crane operation
  • Unique program that combines theory and practical, “hands-on” training
  • Upon completion of the program, participants will be fully certified Level A 22 Tonnes & Under Folding Boom Crane operators

Rigging

  • Crane and hoisting hand signals and load weight calculations
  • Calculating load center of gravity (COG)
  • Rigging slings and hitches, rigging inspection and rejection criteria
  • Use of rigging tables to select appropriate size rigging
  • Working load limit calculations (WLL), sling angle capacity estimation
  • Knots, use of tag lines, lift planning and critical lift criteria
  • Upon completion of course, participants will receive Level 1 Rigger Certification with picture ID wallet card
  • 1 – 8 students per class
